Inauguration of ICTIR-2024

The International Conference on Technology for Industry 4.0 Revolution (ICTIR - 2024), organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, was inaugurated on June 29, 2024, at the AC Seminar Hall. The president of the function, Dr. R.K. Hegde, HOD of Aeronautical Engineering, inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamp. In his address, he emphasized focusing on the latest topics like artificial intelligence in the medical field and its other applications. He also mentioned that a lot of hard work is required to organize such a conference. The chief guest was Dr. Harikrishna Rai, Technical Product Manager at GE Healthcare. In his online address, he highlighted the importance of AI in the health sector.Dr. Soorya Krishna K, the Head of the Department (H.O.D) of Electronics and Communication Engineering, spoke on the importance of arranging these types of conferences. Mr. Sathish Kumar provided a brief overview of ICTIR-2024, giving attendees a glimpse into the conference's objectives, themes, and significance. Mrs. Flavita and Mrs. Deeksha served as the Masters of Ceremony (MCs) for the program, guiding the proceedings and ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. After the inaugural function, Dr. Harikrishna Rai gave a keynote address on “Advances and Recent Trends in Medical Imaging.” He briefly spoke on the basics of image processing and later discussed the latest medical imaging equipment. He also spoke on how technological advancements help mankind. In the conference, several papers were presented on different topics. These papers likely covered a wide range of topics related to Industry 4.0, including technologies, applications, research findings, and innovative solutions proposed by participants.
