Inaugural Function of ENVISION JUNIORS 2024

The inaugural function of ENVISION JUNIORS 2024, a national-level techno-cultural fest, was held on December 14, 2024, at Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), Valachil, Mangaluru. The event was presided over by Dr. A. Srinivas Rao, Pro-Chancellor of Srinivas University and Vice-President of A. Shama Rao Foundation. Er. A. Mithra S Rao, Trustee Member, Board of Governance, Srinivas University, was the Guest of Honour. Addressing the gathering, Dr. A. Srinivas Rao encouraged students to actively participate in all events, emphasizing the importance of honing their talents and gaining valuable experiences. He wished the participants success and urged them to carry forward the knowledge and memories from the event. Er. A. Mithra S Rao extended a warm welcome to the Pre-University students and referred to them as invaluable assets to the nation. She motivated them to pursue their dreams and highlighted the significance of drug awareness among the younger generation.The event witnessed seamless coordination under the leadership of Dr. Prasad P,Co-Convener of the fest. Dr. Dheeraj Hebri (SIT Sports Club), Dr. Sumana V.S. (SIT Lalitharanga), Dr. Prasad briefed the audience about the various activities lined up for ENVISION JUNIORS 2024 and lauded the efforts of first-year students in making the event a grand success.The fest provided a dynamic platform for young talents to excel in cultural, technical, and sports domains. With participation from 58 colleges, the event showcased the skills and creativity of Pre-University students, leaving an indelible mark on all attendees.Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology and Convener of the event, delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest was introduced by the Joint Secretary of Envision Juniors, while Ms. Meghana Kotian, proposed the vote of thanks, appreciating the contributions of the organizing team. The program concluded with Ms. Sowmya Shetty and Mr. Keethan C. D. as the masters of ceremonies, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow of the event.
