INDIA HABITAT CENTRE

On August 5, 2024, 20 students accompanied by 1 faculty of Srinivas School of Architecture, Mangalore made a site visit to the India Habitat Centre, designed by renowned architect Joseph Allen Stein. The hour-long exploration provided valuable insights into Stein’s architectural philosophy. The use of open spaces, space frames, courtyards, sitting areas and natural light to create a harmonious environment was particularly noteworthy.
