IDEATE, INNOVATE, PRESENT

The Day01 of the Phase 01 of the Ideate, Innovate, Present (IIP) was conducted in M503 for the students of the third semester of Aeronautical & Automobile Engineering. The students were briefed about the concept of Ideation and its importance in initiating the Innovation part. They were showcased with the various opportunities of start-ups and patents within their domain and were motivated to formulate a problem statement and find suitable solutions towards it. Further, the students were tasked to form a 4 member team and were given a 24 hour challenge to identify a problem statement for the rural parts of India and come up with a solution. The students are to present the methodology for the problem statement tomorrow. Following this, they will be working on developing a solution (In terms of product, app, software or business plan) and present the same by the end of the semester. This will be promoted for patents or start-ups with due consultation with various organizations. The aim of this program is to create possible start-ups & patents. Day 2 of the IIP, Phase 1 was conducted for the 3rd semester students at M503. Students presented ideas ranging from patentable topics such as BioPlastics, 2 Wheel Carrier to Start-up topics such as, Automatic Bus tickets, Two-in-one Bottle amongst others. Students presented the problem in their field and offered a brief methodology to obtain the required solutions. Queries were answered regarding the steps for the solution. Some ideas were identified as potential topics for patents and start-ups. The students were instructed to work towards their ideas and present the first progress in association with their mentors in the third week of December
