Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering SRINIVAS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY Valachil, Mangaluru HUNT AND BUILD The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, in collaboration with the Institution Innovation Council (IIC), organized the Hunt and Build intra-institutional challenge. The event was held on 3rd December 2024 in the Communication Lab, Main Block, commencing at 11:00 AM. The primary objective of the event was to challenge participants technical and analytical skills by combining scavenger hunt-style problem-solving with practical circuit building. Teams consisted of two members each. Participants were required to: Collect clues and search for corresponding components, follow an elimination-based structure at each stage and assemble a working circuit using the gathered components. The Hunt and Build witnessed enthusiastic participation from 54 students, with many showcasing exceptional teamwork and technical expertise. The winners of the event are as follows: First Place: Jithesh K S (B518) Yogith D (B551) Second Place: Nishith T Naik (B528) Shreesha (B541) The competition provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their problem-solving and practical engineering skills. Participants demonstrated impressive logical reasoning and technical knowledge to solve the challenges and complete their circuits. The Hunt and Build challenge served as a brilliant example of fostering creativity and innovation in a collaborative environment.
