Freedom Strokes – A Nation’s Tale, Sketched in Shades

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems CSBS of Srinivas Institute of Technology in association with the BASICS Student Association organized a pencil sketching competition titled Freedom Strokes – A Nation’s Tale Sketched in Shades on 14th August 2025 as part of the Independence Day celebration. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents while expressing the spirit of freedom and patriotism. The competition based on the theme of freedom saw enthusiastic participation from students who presented creative and thoughtful works of art. It was coordinated by Prof Rithika NSS Coordinator and under the guidance of Mr Shailesh Shetty S Head of CSBS and Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology. The Freedom Strokes pencil sketching competition was a resounding success. It not only celebrated the essence of Independence but also promoted creativity self-expression and holistic development among students. The event concluded with a strong message of unity and freedom leaving a lasting impact on all participants.
