Farewell Ceremony SAYONARA

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering held a farewell ceremony ‘SAYONARA’ on the 29th of May, 2024, in the Seminar Hall. It was a momentous occasion, meticulously organized to bid adieu to our graduating students. The event commenced at 10:00 AM and was presided over by our esteemed Principal, Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D. The program began with a warm welcome by Ms Nikita from 3rd year ECE to all the attendees. The highlight of the event was the prize distribution ceremony, organized by the STEADY Association. This segment recognized the exceptional talents and hard work of our students across various events conducted throughout the year. The following categories of awards were distributed: Academic Excellence Awards, Best Project Awards, Sports Achievements and Cultural Event Winners. Each award recipient was called on stage to receive their prizes from the Principal, amidst loud applause and cheers from their peers. The sense of accomplishment and pride was palpable as the students received recognition for their hard work and dedication.Dr. Soorya Krishna K, Head of the Department (HoD) delivered a motivational speech that was both inspiring and heartfelt. He encouraged the students to dream big, work hard and face challenges.Principal Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D. in his presidential speech set a positive tone for the event with his inspiring words, emphasizing the importance of staying prepared for the competitive corporate world. He shared invaluable insights on how to be industry-ready, stressing the significance of continuous learning, adaptability, and maintaining a positive attitude.The farewell ceremony concluded on a high note with a vote of thanks by Mr. Chakshith from 3rd year ECE, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the successful organization of the event. The attendees were then invited for lunch, where they shared memories, and took photographs to commemorate the day.The farewell ceremony was a fitting tribute to the journey of our graduating students, celebrating their achievements and preparing them for the future. It was a day filled with emotions, pride, and inspiration, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
