The Department of Computer Science and Allied Branches of Srinivas Institute of Technology organized a Faculty Development Programme on ‘Insights of Python’ from 28th February 2023 to 4th March 2023. The Program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D,Principal,Srinivas Institute of Technology Mangaluru. In his inaugural address, he motivated the gathering to learn and upskill themselves with emerging technologies and programming skills.He also stressed on the importance of conducting such programmes which will provide a fruitful career. The resource person of this FDP, Mr. Madhusudhan S,Assistant Professor,Department of AIML gave an overview of the five days programme,and stressed on the importance of learning the programming languages like Python,R and their roles in industry.He also briefed about the current trends in the industry and how one should develop a competitive attitude to be inlined with industrial trends and strategy. Dr. Shashidhar Kini K,HoD,Dept.of MCA and Dr. Anoop B K HoD,Dept. of AIMLspoke on this occasion.Prof.Nagaraja Hebbar N,HoD Dept.of AI&DS was present on this occasion. The Programme was welcomed by Prof. Ravishankara K,HoD CSE Department and Vote of Thanks was delivered by Prof,Sudarshan K ,HoD of ISE Department.More than 40 Participants actively participated during this five days of Faculty Development Programme.
