ENVISION-AIML-2023

Envision 2023 was a techno-cultural event held at our college on the 28th and 29th of March 2023. The event saw a huge turnout of participants from various departments and colleges, showcasing their technical and creative skills. The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning under Tantrik organized several events including Yakshagana, Line Follower, CodeQuest, Kaos Kodes, Tactical Triumph, PES, VR and BizQuiz. This report aims to give an overview of the events organized by the department and their outcomes. Events 1. Yakshagana The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) in association with the Yaksha club at Srinivas Institute of Technology organized an event named Solo Yashagana Competition on March 28, 2023, as part of Envision 2023. The main aim of the event was to stage the Cultural knowledge and skills based on Indian Culture. The event was held at Seminar Hall Ground floor, main Block and attracted a significant number of participants from various colleges. There were Ten participants. The event was started right after the inaugural ceremony. The participants had to arrange their own costume, the event was judged based on expression, costume, time and score points. And we had participants from many colleges. And we had two Judges, as the internal judge we had Dr Suryanarayana K and the external judge as Subrahmanaya Bhat. The winners were given existing cash prizes. Overall, Solo Yashagana Competition was a successful event and got good response from the participants. The participants from several colleges participated in this event and demonstrated their talent.The event was organized by Nihal S Jain , Aishwarya of 6th sem AIML , Supreeth of 6th sem CSE and Bhavith of 3rd sem AIML.2. Line Follower Robot The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) at Srinivas Institute of Technology organized an event named Line Follower on March 28, 2023, as part of Envision 2023. The event aimed to test the technical knowledge and skills of the participants using Arduino Uno to build their own line follower bots. The event attracted participants from various colleges and was held at the main block's 4th-floor auditorium. The bots had to be autonomous once they entered the track, with the event judged based on time and score points. The bot that crossed four safe zones and reached the finish line first was declared the winner. The event was successful, with several college teams showcasing their skills in this competition. The event was organized by Jabasingh Daniel , 6th sem , Daniel Shelton 3rd SEM and Karthik , 3rd SEM.3. CodeQuest The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) at Srinivas Institute of Technology organized an event named CodeQuest on March 28, 2023, as part of Envision 2023. The main aim of the event was to test the technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities of the participants through a series of challenging riddles and puzzles. The event was organised by Nihal Athri of 5th sem AIML, Greeshma, and Amshith of 3rd sem AIML, at the AI lab and attracted a significant number of participants from various colleges. The participants were divided into teams, and each team was given a set of clues that led them to the next one. These clues were technical riddles and puzzles that required the participants to use their technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to decipher them. The team that solved all the clues and reached the final destination first was declared the winner, and they were awarded a cash prize.4. Kaos Kodes On March 29, 2023, as part of the Envision 2023 event, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Srinivas Institute of Technology organised a technical-based competition called Kaos Kodes. The event was organized by Shetty Thrishika, Swathi K, and Bavith and was held in the AI lab, attracting a significant number of participants. Kaos Kodes was an individual participant event consisting of two rounds. The first round was a typing contest, with participants judged based on accuracy and word counts. The qualifiers of this round were called for the next round, which was a jumbled code round. In this round, participants were provided with a jumbled code that required modification to provide the displayed output. The participant who completed the second round first was declared the winner and awarded the prize money.5. Tactical Triumph On 28th March 2023, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning organised Tactical Triumph, a field event, held near the kho kho ground in Srinivas Institute of Technology. The event was aimed at testing the physical and mental abilities of the participants through a series of challenging tasks and obstacles. The event consisted of four tasks and one obstacle, each designed to challenge the participants' teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Three out of the four teammates would be locked. By clearing the tasks, the teammates would be released. The team that completed all the tasks in the shortest time was deemed the winner and awarded the cash prize. The event was organised by Reanne Paula Davis, Nuhayd, and Pavan Acharya, who ensured that the event ran smoothly and efficiently.6. BizQuiz The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at Srinivas Institute of Technology organized an event called Bizquiz. The event was open to all students from various colleges and attracted a significant number of participants. The competition was for teams of two students, and the event focused on business-related quiz questions. Bizquiz consisted of three rounds. The first round was a multiple-choice question (MCQ) round, testing participants' knowledge of business-related concepts. The second round required participants to guess the company logo, testing their familiarity with different brand logos. The final round was a buzzer round. The team that completed all three rounds in the shortest time was declared the winner and received a cash prize. Suhas. R.S. and Suraksha from the 5th semester of AIML, along with Pranamya.v.rao from the 3rd semester of AIML, organized the event.7. PES department of AIML at Srinivas Institute of Technology organized an PES(eFootball) competition on 28/03/2023 as part of Envision 2023. The event was aimed at providing a platform for gaming enthusiasts to showcase their skills and compete with their peers in the virtual world of soccer. The competition was held at classroom 402 and attracted a large number of participants from various colleges and universities in the region. The participants competed against each other in the popular soccer game, PES (eFootball), on mobile. The event was well-organized and executed. The competition was conducted in a knockout format, with the winners of each match advancing to the next round. The event was organized by Nameer, Ahmed ,Abhinav of 6th sem AIML.8. Virtual Reality The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) at Srinivas Institute of Technology organized a successful event named Virtual Reality as part of Envision 2023 on March 28-29, 2023. Participants were provided with VR headsets and controllers to experience the immersive world of virtual reality gaming. The event attracted a significant number of participants from various colleges, and Virtual Reality gaming was available in both individual and multiplayer modes. The event received positive feedback, showcasing the Department of AIML's commitment to providing cutting-edge learning opportunities for students.The event was organised by Muhammed Ziyad K S and Razik U M of 5th sem AIML at room number 001.
