Report on Entrepreneurship and Its Importance
SIT IIC, in association with the EDP, Incubation, and Startup Cell, organized a talk on “Entrepreneurship and Its Importance.” This event was held with the support of the Nitte Karavali Startup Programme 2024 and took place on October 29, 2024, in the Seminar Hall.
The session featured two esteemed resource persons: Mr. Asish Rai, Director of Clay Business Group, and Mr. Ashwin Pai, Managing Director of Bylife Solutions.
Mr. Asish Rai discussed the qualities required to become a successful entrepreneur, the advantages of entrepreneurship, the challenges one may face, and the key strategies for success. He also shared his personal journey and experiences on how he built his entrepreneurial career.
Mr. Ashwin Pai followed with an insightful discussion about his entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the hurdles he overcame and the lessons he learned along the way.
The session was attended by over 200 students from various engineering streams, who gained valuable insights into the importance of entrepreneurship. The students were inspired to consider entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding path, rather than just focusing on traditional job opportunities.
