“Alvida” – Farewell and Valedictory Function 2025 by ECE Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, held an emotional and vibrant farewell and valedictory function titled “Alvida” on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the college auditorium under the banner of the STEADY Association. The ceremony commenced with a soulful prayer song rendered by Ms. Kavya of 6th semester ECE and Ms. Shreya of 4th semester ECE, setting a serene and respectful tone for the day. This was followed by a welcome address by Mr. Prajwal of 6th semester ECE, who warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty, and students, highlighting the significance of the event. The event was presided over by Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of SIT, who in his address, appreciated the efforts of the outgoing batch and encouraged them to carry forward the values of the institution. He wished them success in all future endeavors. Dr. Soorya Krishna K, Head of the ECE Department, also addressed the gathering, expressing their pride in the students' achievements and contributions. Ms. Akshatha of 6th semester ECE presented the STEADY Association Annual Report, outlining the year’s academic and extracurricular highlights. It was followed by a prize distribution ceremony, wherein meritorious students and winners of various events and activities conducted under STEADY were recognized and honored. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Pranitha of 6th semester ECE, who acknowledged the efforts of the organizers, staff, and participants for making the event a memorable one. “Alvida” was a perfect blend of nostalgia, celebration, and inspiration, leaving everyone with cherished memories.
