Drug-Free India Awareness Program

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems CSBS in association with the BASICS Student Association and the NSS unit of Srinivas Institute of Technology organized a Drug-Free India Awareness Program on 13th August 2025. The program aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage them to lead a healthy drug-free life. During the event all students took a pledge to stay away from drugs and promote a healthy lifestyle. The event was coordinated by Prof Rithika NSS Coordinator under the valuable guidance of Mr Shailesh Shetty S Head of Department CSBS and Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D Principal Srinivas Institute of Technology. The program successfully motivated students to take responsibility in spreading the message of a drug-free society and contributed towards the vision of a healthier and stronger India.
