Dept of Automobile Engineering organized a workshop on Motorsports Dynamics and Designing

Department of Automobile Engineering of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil Mangaluru, organized a two day workshop on “Motorsports Dynamics and Designing”, for AU students on 25th and 26th April 2019 in the college seminar hall. Mr. Vinay Kumar and Mr. M Srinivasan, Corporate Trainer, Geekslab Technologies Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi were the resource persons for the workshop. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Vinay Kumar explained types of cars, chassis, braking and dynamics and how to make analysis. He also highlighted the importance and benefits of the workshop. Dr. Ramakrishna N.Hegde, HOD, Automobile Engineering, in his speech advised the students to take part in the technical workshop, so that they can build a technically sound vehicle for the upcoming e-BAHA and m- BAHA competitions.

Ms. Spandana, student coordinator welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guests.

The workshop was coordinated by Mr. Varun N and Mr. Girish A R, Assistant professors of Automobile Department. 54 students actively participated in the two day workshop. This workshop helped students to understand the basic things involved in Design and Analysis of all-terrain Vehicles. The workshop was successfully completed with the support of faculties of Automobile Department, HOD, Principal and Management.
