Department of Marine Engineering hosted the AIMES Valedictory and Farewell for final-year students.

On May 21, 2024, the Department of Marine Engineering hosted the AIMES Valedictory and Farewell for final-year students. The event started with a prayer by Mr. Rahul, 4th-semester Marine Engineering student, followed by a welcome address from Ms. Bhuvana Priya, 6th-semester Marine Engineering student. Prof. Sunil Prakash R, the AIMES faculty advisor, gave an overview of the year's AIMES activities.Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, presided over the event. He encouraged the graduates to take advantage of any opportunities and congratulated AIMES members for successfully conducting various activities throughout the academic year 2023-24. He also presented awards to the ALTIUS-24 competition winners and honored the top performers in academics and sports.Dr. Lokesh V, Head of the Department, praised the AIMES office bearers for their efforts and advised 2nd and 3rd-year students to continue AIMES activities, as the academic year is still ongoing. He wished the outgoing students all the best for their future endeavors.Outgoing students shared their memorable experiences from their four-year journey at Srinivas Institute of Technology. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr. Madhav, 6th-semester Marine Engineering student, with Mr. Prithuesh and Ms. Harshitha serving as masters of ceremony.
