The Dept. of Microbiology has organized 5 days DST Inspire Internship Science Camo for around 300 P.U. Students from 25th November to 29th November 2018. Under the MOU with dept. of Nano technology, the Dept. of Microbiology has invited Dr. Prasad P, Professor & Head, Dept. of Nano Technology, Srinivas Institute of Technology as a resource person to deliver a talk on Nanotechnology and its applications. The inaugural function was conducted in the morning session was followed by talk on Nanotechnology and its applications. In the noon session workshop was engaged on Biosynthesis of Nanomaterials by using plants and microbes by Dr. Prasad P & Prof. Naveen Kumar J.R. along with student coordinators Ms. Rebecca Linal Marin, Mr. Vishwas S & Mr. Juned Khan of 5th Semester, Dept of Nano technology, In the workshop the synthesis of silver nanoparticles from bacteria and plant extracts were demonstrated successfully from 2:30 PM to5:30 PM
