Department of Computer Science and Engineering-Constitution Day Celebration

Indian Constitution is the supreme law of the land. It gives an elaborated framework defining fundamental principles, powers and duties of the governmental institutions and citizens. It establishes constitutional supremacy and was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949 and came into effect on 26 January 1950. To commemorate this event, 26 November is celebrated as Constitution Day. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized a pledge taking ceremony to celebrate the Constitution Day. The pledge was administered by 3rd Semester NSS student member. All the 3rd semester students undertook the pledge on account of Constitution Day on 25th November 2023 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore campus. This event was held under the guidance of Prof. Ravishankara K, Head of the Department, CS&E and Prof. Deepthi P. Dsouza, Department NSS coordinator along with Prof. Kavyashree from Department of CS&E.
