Consecration of Lord Srinivasa Idol & Srinivasa Kalyanotsava 22nd February 2024

On the auspicious day of February 22, 2024, the divine celebrations at Srinivasa Institute of Technology Valachil Mangalore unfolded with various sacred rituals beginning at 5 AM. The morning commenced with the Gana Homa, Prathista Prasanna Pooja, Kalashaabisheka, Vishnu Sahasranama Havana, Kalpaka Pooja, and Dampati Pooja, each performed with precision and devotion. The Mantrakshette ceremony further enriched the spiritual atmosphere. Under the holy guidance of Dr. Srinivasa Rao Ji, the Kalasha Pratistapana took place, consecrating the sacred Kalasha with divine significance. Following this, Lord Srinivasa's idol was consecrated, signifying the divine presence on the premises. Subsequently, the grand event of Srinivasa Kalyanotsava - A Divine Celebration unfolded with grace and fervor. The ceremony was solemnized by the esteemed Dr. CA A. Raghavendra Rao, Hon'ble Chancellor of Srinivasa University and President of A. Shama Rao Foundation Mangalore. Accompanying were A. Vijayalakshmi Rao, Trustee of the Governing Council, Srinivasa University, and Dr. Srinivasa Rao, Hon'ble Pro-Chancellor of Srinivasa University, Vice-President of A. Shama Rao Foundation Mangalore, along with Prof. Smt. A. Mitra S. Rao, Trustee of the Governing Council of Srinivas University, and their respected family members. The Srinivasa Kalyanotsava holds deep spiritual significance, symbolizing the divine marriage of Lord Srinivasa and Goddess Padmavati.
