Code2Concept Contest

On August 13 2025 under the Institutes Innovation Cell and the Association of Information Science and Engineering AISE and Association of Computer Science and Design ACODE the Department of ISE and CSD organized a contest named Code2Concept The task involves designing and developing a structured web form using HTML elements allowing users to input data such as text email and password fields with proper labels and a submit button for form submission The problem statement was given on the spot and time was allotted for the participants to think a better idea and make a frontend and backend After that participants had to present their idea based on the problem statement Students from both departments including ISE and CSD participated enthusiastically in large numbers making the event a grand success The contest showcased the students technical acumen and fostered interdepartmental collaboration and learning The event was supported by Prof Sudarshan K Head of the Department HOD ISE and CSD It was skilfully conducted by Poorvitha Ashwitha Shravya and Thejaswini from the 5th semester ISE and CSD The event was coordinated by Ms Aparna N under the guidance of Prof Sowmya Staff Advisor AISE and Prof Archana D Staff Advisor ACODE whose mentorship ensured the sessions academic depth and smooth execution Code2Concept is an activity designed to encourage students to transform programming or algorithmic problems into realworld product ideas or solutions In this event participants are provided with problem statements related to coding web development or software logic Instead of simply writing code to solve the problem they must analyse the underlying concept and creatively reimagine it as a functional product service or application This approach bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical innovation helping students enhance problemsolving skills logical thinking and creativity
