ETHICAL HACKING WORKSHOP

A workshop on “Ethical Hacking” was organized by ‘ASCEE’ student association of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering on 21st October 2021 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru for the students of all branches. The workshop was conducted by the Resource Person, Mr. Nikhil Kashyap of 5th Semester CS&E, Certified Trainer for Ethical Hacking & Cyber Security. Mr. Nikhil Kashyap motivated the participants to build a culture of information security competence and helped them to understand and react appropriately to the real and potential information security threats through this workshop. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of the college, shared his views towards the importance of Cyber Security and motivated the students to gain knowledge from this workshop. Prof. Ravishankara K, HOD(In-charge), CS&E and Prof. Aravind Naik, Staff Advisor ASCEE were present on this occasion. The entire workshop was coordinated by the Student Coordinators, Mr. Srivatsa S V , Ms. Sayeeda Tasneem Arif and the team members of ASCEE. More than 130 participants attended this workshop. The workshop concluded with a Quiz competition among the participants and certificate of merit was awarded to the participants.
