CHESS AND CARROM COMPETITION

On 5th July 2024, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized an exhilarating Chess and Carrom Competition, open to participants from all departments. The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 80 teams enthusiastically competing in both games, showcasing their strategic thinking and skills. The competition kicked off with an opening ceremony, where the organizing committee welcomed all the participants and wished them luck. Prof. Sudarshan K, HOD of ISE was the guest of the event.The venue buzzed with excitement as players from various departments gathered, ready to engage in friendly yet intense matches.In the Chess segment, participants displayed remarkable strategic prowess, with several matches extending into nail-biting finales. The players' deep concentration and thoughtful moves captivated the audience, who cheered on their peers. Simultaneously, the Carrom matches unfolded with equal vigor. Teams demonstrated exceptional precision and coordination, making for thrilling games filled with impressive strikes and clever rebounds. Throughout the day, the atmosphere was vibrant, filled with camaraderie and sportsmanship. The event provided a platform for students to interact beyond academic boundaries, fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration.Prof.Nagaraja Hebbar N, Head of the Department, and Prof.Sneha Bose, AADE Coordinator, Kavitha, Sports Coordinator were present to support the event, further enhancing its importance and impact.
