Business Model Canvas Workshop

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, in association with IIC, EDP Cell, and STEADY, organized an insightful session on "Business Model Canvas", on April 28, 2025 at the Seminar Hall. Ms. Sinchana, 4th semester ECE welcomed the gathering. The session was conducted by Mrs. Ashwini, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, who served as the resource person. Mrs. Ashwini provided a comprehensive overview of the Business Model Canvas, a strategic tool used for developing new or documenting existing business models. The session aimed to enhance the entrepreneurial and strategic thinking skills of students. Through an engaging presentation, Mrs. Ashwini elaborated on the nine essential components of the Business Model Canvas, including Customer Segments, Value Propositions, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships, and Cost Structure. Real-world examples and an interactive discussion enriched the learning experience for the attendees. The session concluded with a vote of thanks, by Ms. Ashwini, 4th semester ECE appreciating the resource person for her valuable insights and encouraging students to apply the concepts learned for future entrepreneurial ventures. The event was a resounding success, fostering innovative thinking and business model development skills among the students.
