Awareness Campaign on Waste Management and Disposal

In pursuant to the vision of Swachh Bharath Abhiyan, 6th semester students of Department of Information science and engineering and Department of Artificial intelligence and machine learning have participated in the “Awareness Campaign on Waste Management and Disposal” held on 16/06/2023. Students Collected the wastes from different parts of Someshwara beach. Appropriate measures were taken to separate then into dry waste and wet waste. Suitable disposal was done by handing over the collected waste to the nearby government authorities (Panchayat) who collected them in the municipality vehicle. The campaign was a grand success due to the efforts of students for organizing it and 46 students of Department of ISE and AIML participated in this event. This program was supported by our beloved principal Dr. Srinivasa Mayya D. The program was successfully completed with the help of Prof. Sudarshan K, Head of the Department, IS&E and Dr. Anoop B K, Head of the Department, Department of AIML.
