Altius 2024-25 Annual Tech Fest

ALTIUS 2024-25 The Information Science and Engineering Department at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore, organized a series of engaging and innovative technical events under the banner of ALTIUS 2024-25 on December 3, 2024. These events aimed to foster innovation, technical expertise, and practical skills among students, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and creativity. A variety of events were conducted, including Idea Ignition (Paper Presentation) with 30 participants, organized by Uttam and B Shashank Rao, and Code Quest, which attracted 46 participants and was coordinated by Archana T Naik and Ruthika P Gowda. The Decode & Discover event, organized by Jayashree K R and Greeshma K, saw 30 participants, while the intriguing Crack the Case event, managed by Shrama Madival and Praneesh, garnered 56 participants. The Mystery Maze event, coordinated by Sinchana and Spoorthi, witnessed 42 participants, and Byte and Hint, which drew the largest crowd of 84 participants, was held in Room 406 under the guidance of Nishan and Rohith. Lastly, Syntax Saga, organized by Kaushal K and Prasanna P, showcased the skills of 24 participants. The events were marked by enthusiastic participation and fierce yet friendly competition. The judging panels, comprising esteemed faculty members and industry professionals, ensured fair and insightful evaluations. The success of ALTIUS 2024-25 was made possible by the combined efforts of the organizers, participants, judges, and the unwavering support of the Information Science and Engineering Department. The events were supported by our beloved Principal Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D and Altius coordinator Prof. Harshith K. The Events were completed with the help of Prof. Sudarshan K, Head of the Department, IS&E. Prof. Sowmya, Staff Advisor of AISE, coordinated this event. Their contributions, along with the tireless efforts of student organizers and volunteers, ensured the seamless execution of the event. ALTIUS 2024-25 proved to be an inspiring platform for creativity, learning, and collaboration within the engineering community. The department looks forward to organizing future editions of ALTIUS to continue promoting innovation and excellence.
