ASMA Valedictory and Farewell to Final year Students 2025
The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the valedictory function of the Mechanical Department Association, known as the All Students Mechanical Association (ASMA), and bid farewell to the final-year Mechanical Engineering students on May 20, 2025. The program commenced with a prayer led by Miss Thejaswini, a third-year student, followed by a welcome address from Mr. Karthik N, the President of ASMA. Professor Sathyaprakash A, the faculty advisor of ASMA, presented the activities conducted by the association during the academic year 2024–25. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, presided over the function and delivered a motivational address to the graduating students. He emphasized the importance of seizing available job opportunities in the market due to the current shortage of mechanical engineers. He noted that life would challenge them in new and unexpected ways, and encouraged the students to analyze, adapt, and act with courage, ethics, and curiosity. He urged the outgoing students to return to the college, share their experiences, and join him on stage in the future.The Principal distributed prizes and awards to the winners of various competitions held during ALTIUS-25, an inter-departmental competition, along with other events conducted by the department.Dr. Shankar K.S., Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, congratulated the association office bearers for their outstanding work throughout the academic year and extended his best wishes to the top performers, achievers, and prize winners. He encouraged the students to capitalize on the opportunities available in the field of mechanical engineering.During the event, outgoing students shared their memorable experiences. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Shrinivasa N, Secretary of ASMA, while Mr. Gokul A and Mr. Vishnu Balachandran served as the masters of ceremony.
