ASCEE-2022-23

The inaugural function of the student Association of Computer Science and Engineering Department – ASCEE(Association of Computer Science Engineering Educatee), of Srinivas Institute of Technology , Valachil, Mangaluru, for the year 2022-23 was held on Saturday 19th November 2022. Mr. Vishwanath Belliappa, Chief People Officer, Code Craft Technologies was the Chief Guest. Mr. Joyson, Senior Engineer, Code Craft Technologies was the Resource Person.Mr. Vishwanath Belliappa in his inaugural address said “Knowledge, skills can be taught, but attitude needs to be learned”. He also stressed on the fact that the students need to exercise strong communication skills which is a key element of success in the IT industry. The redesigned ASCEE logo unveiling was done by the Chief Guest on this occassion.Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of the college, in his presidential address, urged the students to organize maximum number of events in their association and also take up initiatives to shape their ideas into realities. Prof. Ravishankara K, H.O.D, CS&E Department, in his address appreciated the students for their active participation in the events conducted so far and also asked them to earn certification programs that can help aspiring engineers develop employable skills.Prof. Aravind Naik , Staff Coordinator briefed about the objectives of the association and introduced the offfice bearers of ASCEE 2022-23.Mr. Srivatsa S. V, Event Coordinator, ASCEE outlined the activities conducted so far and also proposed the plan of action of 2022-23.Mr. Nikhil Kashyap H. R, President, ASCEE welcomed the gathering and Ms. Fathimathul Fayiza, Secretary, ASCEE delivered the vote of thanks. The program was compered by Mr. Rohan A Gajare and Ms. Shradha V. S.The formal function was followed by a technical talk on “ Communicating on Github ” by the Resource Person Mr. Joyson, Senior Engineer, Code Craft Technologies.
