4th Anniversary of National Education Policy (NEP)2020

The Srinivas Institute of Technology's Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) organized a talk titled NEP 2020: Four Years of Educational Transformation and Progress on the occasion of the 4th Anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 on 29th July 2024. The program was inaugurated by Dr. Suryanarayana K, Professor & Head of Physics Dept., who also served as the chief guest and resource person. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology, presided over the function, emphasizing the pivotal role of NEP 2020 in transforming India's education system. Dr. Suryanarayana K elucidated on NEP 2020’s objectives to foster inclusivity, equity, and dynamism in education, stressing on holistic development, vocational skills, and universal access to quality education. He also addressed the implementation challenges and advantages of NEP 2020. The event was coordinated by Dr. Padmanayana, HOD-CSD was also present in the event. The event supported by Dr. Ramakrishna N Hegde convener IIC. The event began with an invocation by Raksha and Aishwarya, followed by a welcome address from Malavika, with emceeing handled by Deeksha and Spoorthi.
