48 Hour Startup Challenge at St. Aloysius College
On the occasion of International Youth Day 2023, the King's College London Alumni Community Hyderabad organized a 48 Hour Startup Challenge at St. Aloysius College in Mangaluru on 11-12, August 2023. The event was aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration among young minds. The entire program was led by Stephen Anurag, who holds a position as AKC NISG Public Policy Official in the Government of Meghalaya. During the event, participants were given the opportunity to choose from various themes for their startup projects. In this event, SIT Innovation and SSOSC club members Chinmaya Ramana and K S Monish from 7th Sem CSE participated and won the first prize. This team chose to focus on monitoring the health of unborn children without jeopardizing the health of the mother and child. In this fierce competition, this team's innovative healthcare startup idea emerged victorious. It was aimed to revolutionize prenatal care by implementing a system to monitor the health of unborn children while prioritizing the well-being of both the mother and child. This team successfully demonstrated ideate, collaborate, and execute under tight time constraints. This team was honoured with certificates and a cash prize of 150 Euros. Additionally, the organizers promised to support us in securing investments from various investors and government sources through different funding avenues.
