2 Day Knowledge Empowerment Program by Department of MBA

The Department of MBA at Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil Mangaluru in collaboration with the Institutions Innovation Council IIC and Department of BVoc in Retail and Supply Chain Management Ujire jointly organized a 2 day Knowledge Empowerment Program on 17th and 18th March 2025 under the framework of Memorandum of Understanding MOU aimed at empowering students through knowledge exchange The event saw active participation from students and faculty from both institutions The program was inaugurated on 17th March 2025 at the SDMPG Centre Ujire by Mrs Ashwini Assistant Professor of the Department of MBA Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil Mangaluru The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof Vishwanatha P who served as the president for the program Chief Guest Mr Arun G Dsouza Mr Ashwith HR HOD of Dept of BVoc in Retail and Supply Chain Management and Dr Suveer Jain Course Coordinator of Dept of BVoc Event Coordinator Mr Praveena D Dept of BVoc in Retail and Supply Chain Management other staff and students of SDM College Ujire and Srinivas Institute of Technology The inaugural session followed by an insightful presentation on finance concepts by Mr Arun G Dsouza Assistant Professor of the Department of MBA Justice KS Hegde College of Management Studies Nitte He shared valuable insights into various finance related topics that offered a practical approach to students pursuing careers in finance A total of 30 MBA Finance students from Srinivas Institute of Technology 30 MCom students from SDM College Ujire and 31 final year students of BVoc in Retail and Supply Chain Management participated in this enriching session The session provided them with a deeper understanding of current financial trends and strategies On 18th March 2025 the second day of the program was dedicated to sessions on Personality Development Leadership and Soft Skill Development which were conducted by the faculty members of the MBA Department Srinivas Institute of Technology These sessions focused on nurturing of the skills essential for personal and professional growth The discussions were interactive and provided students with practical tools to enhance their communication leadership and problem solving skills The Valedictory Ceremony for the 2 Day Knowledge Empowerment Program was held at the Seminar Hall of Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil Mangaluru on 18th March 2025 The program concluded with a vote of thanks and appreciation for all the speakers participants and organizers The program successfully facilitated the exchange of valuable knowledge and experiences contributing to the personal and academic growth of the students Overall the 2 Day Knowledge Empowerment Program proved to be an enriching experience for all participants It provided an excellent platform for students to gain valuable knowledge develop essential skills and enhance their career prospects Both institutions SDM College Ujire and Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil have demonstrated their commitment to student development by organizing such impactful programs The event was a success thanks to the active participation of the students and the dedicated efforts of the faculty members involved This event coordinated by Ms Ashwini Assistant Professor Department of MBA Srinivas Institute of Technology Valachil Mangaluru and Mr Praveena D Assistant Professor Department of BVoc in Retail and Supply Chain Management SDM Ujire
