🛕 First Vardhyanthotsava of Lord Sri Srinivasa

Mangaluru, February 10, 2025: The First Vardhyanthotsava (annual celebration) of Lord Sri Srinivasa was observed with great devotion and grandeur at the Srinivasa Temple, Vaikuntha, located in the Srinivas University Valachil Campus. The event was attended by a large gathering of devotees and featured a series of Vedic rituals and vibrant cultural programs. The day commenced with soul-stirring Bhajans, filling the temple premises with spiritual fervor. This was followed by the sacred Punyahavachana, Gana Homa, Vishnu Sahasranama Homa, and Pavamana Homa. A collective chanting of the Vishnu Sahasranama resonated through the temple, creating an atmosphere of spiritual bliss. The Prasanna Puja, conducted with utmost devotion, was followed by the Prasada distribution and Anna Santharpana. The afternoon session witnessed captivating Bhajans and cultural performances by students, showcasing their talent and devotion. A key highlight of the event was the launch of the website for Vaikuntha Srinivasa Temple. The evening program from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM featured a mesmerizing Yakshagana performance – 'Srinivasa Kalyana,' presented by students and staff of Srinivas University and Srinivas Group of Institutions. The performance enthralled the audience, bringing to life the divine wedding of Lord Srinivasa in a spectacular display of art and tradition. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. CA A Raghavendra Rao (Chancellor, Srinivas University), Dr. A Srinivas Rao (Pro-Chancellor, Srinivas University), A Vijayalakshmi R Rao (Trustee Member), and Prof. Er. A Mithra S. Rao (Trustee Member), along with several distinguished dignitaries.
