🔒 'Cybersecurity Awareness Session' - CSBS & IIC, SIT

Mangaluru, February 21, 2025: The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), conducted a cybersecurity awareness session titled 'Learn How to Align Cybersecurity Solutions with Market Needs and Customer Problems.' The session was held at SSOSC Lab at 10 PM and witnessed active participation from students keen on exploring the field of cybersecurity. The session was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, Mr. Shailesh Shetty S, Head of the Department, and Ms. Pratheeksha B.R., Event Coordinator. The resource person for the session, Mr. Dhanush H D, an Ethical Hacker, provided an in-depth understanding of cybersecurity solutions and their relevance in the current market scenario. Students enthusiastically engaged in discussions, posing insightful questions about cyber threats, ethical hacking techniques, and cybersecurity measures.
