📚 Workshop on Empowering Innovation through Resources

Mangaluru, February 20, 2025: The **Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS)** hosted an insightful **workshop** titled *'Empowering Innovation through Resources'* at **12:30 PM** in the **CCP Lab** at **Srinivas Institute of Technology**. The workshop, conducted by **Prof. Smitha M** in collaboration with the **Library Committee** and **R&D Cell**, was designed for **6th-semester students** to enhance their research capabilities. The workshop introduced students to **various powerful e-library platforms**, including **Knimbus, IEEE Xplore, EBSCOhost, Springer, and ScienceDirect**. These platforms provide valuable **digital resources for academic research**, including **journals, articles, and conference proceedings.** Students learned **how to access and navigate these platforms effectively** and were trained in **research techniques** such as **structuring searches for optimal results, assessing the credibility of sources, and managing large volumes of research material.** The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly **positive**. Many students appreciated the **hands-on nature** of the session and felt **more confident** in utilizing e-library resources for their academic pursuits.
