📚 Faculty Development Program on Emerging Topics in Applied Science at SIT

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Emerging Topics in Applied Science is underway at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, from February 4-8, 2025. Organized by the Department of Basic Science, the program aims to provide faculty and researchers with insights into advanced topics in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. The inaugural session, held on February 4, was graced by Dr. Shreedhar K, Vice Principal & Head of the Department of Mathematics at KVG College of Engineering, who delivered the keynote address on the importance of applied science in interdisciplinary research. Other notable figures in attendance included Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of SIT, Dr. Ananta Kumar Kulakarni, HOD of the Mathematics Department, Dr. Suryanarayana K, HOD of the Physics Department, Dr. Gopalakrishna Bhat N, HOD of the Chemistry Department, and other faculty members. The program is being conducted in a hybrid mode, offering both offline and online participation, fostering wider engagement and knowledge sharing.
