⚡ Code Quest - ALTIUS 2024-25 - ISE Department

Mangaluru, December 3, 2024: The Department of Information Science and Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology, in association with **the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC),** successfully conducted *'Code Quest'* as part of **ALTIUS 2024-25.** This technical event was designed to challenge and enhance students' **problem-solving and coding abilities,** fostering a **competitive spirit** among participants. With **46 enthusiastic participants,** the event provided a platform for students to test their **programming skills, logical reasoning, and algorithmic thinking.** Organized by **Archana T Naik and Ruthika P Gowda,** the event took place in **Room 406 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM.** The competition featured a **time-bound coding challenge,** where participants solved programming problems within the given duration. The event assessed **coding proficiency, debugging skills, and logical reasoning,** providing practical exposure to **real-world problem-solving scenarios.** The success of Code Quest was made possible by the **guidance and support** of **Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal,** whose vision for technological excellence and student empowerment played a crucial role. The competition also benefited from the **leadership of Prof. Sudarshan K, Head of the IS&E Department,** and **Dr. Praveen Shenoy,** whose mentorship contributed significantly to the event's organization and impact. Additionally, **Prof. Sowmya, Staff Advisor of AISE and Event Coordinator for IIC,** played a pivotal role in ensuring smooth execution and active participation.
