“EXPOSURE VISIT TO K-TECH INNOVATION HUB”

Association of Information Science and Educatee (AISE) of ISE and the Association of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Educatee (AADE) of AI-DS and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) organized the visit to students of 5th semester of Information Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to K-Tech Innovation Hub, Powered by IKP, Mangaluru on 20-02-2024. The objectives of the visit are to have Exposure to Startups and Entrepreneurship. The company is dedicated to supporting startups and entrepreneurs in their journey towards success. The visit aimed to gain insights into their operations, services, and impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem.K-Tech Innovation Hub, Powered by IKP, provides comprehensive support and resources to budding entrepreneurs. The company offers a range of services tailored to meet the diverse needs of startups, including mentorship, networking opportunities, funding assistance, and workspace solutions. Firstly, Incubation centre was visited and got to see different equipment and brief information about incubation centre and its importance. The Incubation centre is a vibrant hub equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources tailored to support startups' diverse needs. It fosters collaboration, creativity, and knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs. Then a short session was conducted where we were briefed about Incubation facilities, Mentorship and Guidance, Networking opportunities, Funding assistance, Community engagement. Lastly, brief introduction was given about web development and app development by one of the co-founders of Micro-Degree. The visit to K-Tech Innovation Hub offered a profound glimpse into the dynamic world of entrepreneurship and technological advancement.This visit was supported by our beloved principal Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D. and Dr. Ramakrishna N Hegde, Convenor of IIC and Head of the department AE and AU. The Event was successfully Initiated and completed with the help of Prof. Sudarshan K, Head of the Department, IS&E, and Prof. Nagaraja Hebbar N, Head of the Department, AI-DS. This event was organized by Prof. Sowmya, Department of ISE and Advisor of AISE, Member of IIC and Prof. Sneha Bose, Department of AI-DS and Advisor of AADE, Member of IIC. The visit was carried out under the guidance of Ms. Aparna N, Department, IS&E and Mr. Kiran, Department of AI-DS.
