“EXPOSURE VISIT TO SOFTWARE FIRM”

The Association of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Department, AADE, and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) organized the visit for students of 5th-semester Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to MicroDegree, K-Tech Innovation Hub, Mangaluru on 20-02-2024. The objectives of the visit are to have Exposure to the Incubation Centre and Field visit for problem identification.The students embarked on an exposure visit to an Incubation Centre, where they received guidance from IT professionals on the diverse tasks the company undertakes. The professionals shared insights into the company's work culture, emphasizing the importance of commitment, core technology deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The students actively engaged in discussions during the visit, particularly focusing on methodology of startup—a crucial aspect for generating successful startup company in their future endeavors. Demonstrating a proactive approach, the students also seized the opportunity to interact with professionals, seeking advice on essential skill sets required in the dynamic IT industry. Their queries aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the skills necessary to thrive in the professional landscape.This visit was supported by our beloved principal Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D. and Dr. Ramakrishna N Hegde, Convenor of IIC and Head of the department AE and AU. The Event was successfully Initiated and completed with the help of Prof. Nagaraja Hebbar N, Head of the Department, AI-DS. This event was organized by Prof. Sneha Bose, Department of AI-DS and Advisor of AADE, Member of IIC. The visit was carried out under the guidance of Mr. Kiran, Department, AI-DS.
