Webinar on “Data Science & Role of Engineers in the Data Industry” organized by the Association of Information Science & Educatee [AISE] of Information Science and Engineering Department, on 14th of August 2020 using Cisco WebEx platform. The webinar was intended for students and also for those who were interested to learn about data science industry. Mr.Vidwath R Hebse , Senior Data Scientist Indigene PVT Ltd, Bangaluru was the resource person for the webinar. In his address, he briefed the importance of data science and its applications. He also disseminated how Data Science will rule the world in the coming days. Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, SIT addressed the participants on this occasion and motivated them to take the maximum benefit of such webinars and enrich ones knowledge. Mr. Janardhana Bhat K, H.O.D, IS&E convened this webinar. The entire webinar was organized and coordinated by the AISE co-ordinator Mr. Shreejith K B, Asst. Professor, Dept. of IS&E. More than 100 participants attended this webinar also E-Certificates were issued to all participants.
