Inaugural function of AISE and IEI Student Chapter 2019-20

The inaugural function of the activity of the AISE & IEI, the students’ Association of Information Science & Engineering Department and Institute of Engineers India student chapter, of Srinivas Institute Technology for the year 2019-20 was held on 30th Sepember 2019. Mr. Sharath Kumar A, Data scientist, MResult Mangaluru was the chief guest of the inaugural function. Academic achievers were felicitated and Departmental monthly newsletter “NOHA” released on this occasion by the dignitaries along with the editor Madhuvanthi puranik and Shreya S naik.

Mr. Sharath Kumar A, who spoke on the occasion, gave immense knowledge about needs in the IT field. He also handled a session on Data Science and Machine Learning. He gave a brief description about the technologies, programming languages used in most of the technical areas. He motivated the students to come up with good technical knowledge in upcoming days.

Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D., Principal of the college, in his Presidential address, urged the students to actively participate in the association activities to excel in their career. He also suggested the students to take interest in interdisciplinary areas which are in demand in the industry such as machine learning, artificial intelligence etc.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Janardhana Bhat K, Head of the Department of Information Science & Engineering gave complete scenario of technical education and stressed the need for the student involvement in the association for the development of better skills.

Faculty advisor of AISE Mr. Shreejith K B briefed about the activities of AISE and introduced the office bearers of AISE. Faculty advisor of IE(I) Mrs.Supriya A V briefed about the activities of IE(I) and introduced the members of IE(I).

The program was welcomed by Ms Shreya D Rai, president of AISE, Ms. Mayuri Raj V B vice president of AISE introduced the chief guest. Ms. Sampritha Shetty delivered vote of thanks.
