ENGINEERS DAY CELEBRATION BY AMARA

Automobile and Aeronautical Association (AMARA), Department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru celebrated Engineers day on 16th, September, 2019.

To commemorate the memory of Sir. M. Visvesvaraya who had contributed to the field of engineering in India and is held with high regard as a pre-eminent engineer of India. To Identify and acknowledge the great works done by our hard working and smart engineers, Every year Engineers day is celebrated on 15th September.

Dr. Ramakrishna N. Hegde, Head of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru was the chief guest on this occasion. Speaking on the occasion he emphasized on contribution and great work of Sir. M. Visvesvaraya. He also added that, all will not become Sir M. Visvesvaraya, but we need to follow his path, namely, honesty and work ethics, discipline and time sense, dedication and hard work, and lead an “ego less” life, to achieve and to be successful.

Master of ceremony was done by Ms.Spandana P and Ms.Swetha, students of 5thand 3rdSemester Automobile and Aeronautical Engineering. Mr. Omprakash delivered the vote of thanks.
