Department Student Association (ASMA)

The All Students’ Mechanical Association (ASMA) is the association of the students belonging to the students belonging to the Department of Mechanical Engineering. It was formed on the 18th of October 2008. It was a small unit of 58 students which has grown over the past few years. Ever since its inception, ASMA is organizing various events like technical talks, competitions, cultural fests, industrial visits, blood donation camps, etc.

The All students Mechanical Association (ASMA) fosters team spirit, leadership qualities and channelizes the aptitude of the students. The faculties guide the members of the association to ensure elevated degree of success for the activities being organized and hosted by its member. ASMA organizes activities such as technical talks, technical quiz, project exhibitions, industrial visits etc.

The department organizes various Job oriented certification programs regularly. To achieve this, the department has made MOUs with two companies. The department organizes Conferences and workshops on contemporary areas for teaching and non-teaching staffs. The Department also organizes various programs like workshops, Technical Talks, Technical competitions like 3D modeling, car sketching, Technical quiz etc for the benefits of the students.
