Women’s Day Celebration at SIT

Women cell of Srinivas Institute of Technology in association with JCI Jodumarga Nethravathi organized WOMEN’S Day on eighth March 2019. Dr. Malini Hebbar, Associate Professor from St. Agnes College was the Chief Guest and Dr. Bharathi S Shetty, Gynocologist and Obstetrician was the special invite. The program was presided over by Dr. Thomas Pinto, HOD Mechanical Department. Prof Veena Santhosh Rai Coordinator Women’s Cell & Prof. Amitha Harsharaj, Jcrt. Chairperson were present in the dias. Inaugural programe was followed by Prize distribution to the students who won in the competition held on Awareness of Legal and Women’s rights. A special Talk by Dr. Malini Hebbar on, “Women and Stereotypes”, and Dr. Bharathi Shetty educated the students regarding Menstrual Health Awareness and Hygiene . Students from different branches of engineering, MBA and MCA were present in the program.
