Technical talk on Patent Search and Analysis

Department of MCA, in association with “MASM” and IPR(Intellectual Property Rights) Cell organized a technical talk on “Patent search and Analysis” on 28th August 2019 for all MCA students. The resource person Prof. Deepak Raj, Associate Professor and the member of IPR cell explained about the Indian Patent Organizations, Google Patents, European Patents and how one can search about the information on getting the patents and search for patent owners. A hands on session on Prior Art Search was followed for the benefit of the students. The programme started with welcome address by Dr. Shashidhar Kini K, HOD, Department of MCA and finally with vote of thanks by Mr. Jayprakash R, student co-ordinator. The entire programme was coordinated by Mrs. Ashwini Shetty, Assistant Professor and IPR cell member from the department of MCA.
