TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATION under Automobile and Aeronautical Association

Automobile and Aeronautical Association (AMARA), Department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru celebrated Teachers day on September 05, 2019.

On this day we gratefully remembered the great educationalist Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose dream was that “Teachers should be the best minds in the country”. Hence, Teachers day is very important for all the people, as the teachers lay the foundation for creating enlightened citizens for the nation. It is the birthday of a timeless teacher and the former president of India – Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

Mr. M. Sheshagiri, vice principal, Vidyarashmi first grade college, Savanoor, was the chief guest and he emphasized on the importance of good teachers on society to transform the nation as number one in the world. He also mentioned the transformation of teaching from past to present.

On this occasion the chief guest Mr. M. Sheshagiri was felicitated from the Department of Aeronautical and Automobile Engineering for his great and honourable service to the society as a teacher. Dr. Gangadhar R. Rao, professor of Aeronautical Department was the president of the function. Speaking on the occasion he told the difference between Guru and Shikshaka and congratulated the association members for celebrating the Teachers day.

Mr. Srinidhi student of 5th semester Automobile, introduced the chief guest. Ms. Soundaya L, welcomed the gathering and Mr. Jagadeesh, delivered the vote of thanks. Master of ceremony was done by Ms. Spandana P and Ms. Swetha.
