Valedictory of RTIMES-2025 – National Conference on Recent Trends in Mechanical Engineering Sciences

The valedictory function of the two-day National Conference on Recent Trends in Mechanical Engineering Sciences (RTIMES-2025) was held on 10th May 2025 at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru. The event was presided over by Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Patron and Principal, Srinivas Institute of Technology. The event witnessed the participation of Dr. Shankar K.S., Conference Chair, and Prof. Jayaram Thumbe, Organizing Secretary, along with several esteemed faculty members and delegates. In his presidential address, Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D emphasized the significance of academic conferences in fostering research and development, and underscored the vital role of knowledge exchange in advancing emerging trends in engineering sciences. He also commended the organizing committee and all participants for their contributions towards making the conference a resounding success. As part of the two-day conference held on 9th and 10th May 2025, a total of 45 research papers were presented. The conference featured keynote addresses by Dr. K.V. Shivaprasad, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Durham University, UK, and Prof. Manjaiah M., Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Warangal. Dr. Sandesh Rai, Head of the Department of Automobile Engineering, formally welcomed the gathering. Dr. Praveen Shenoy, Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, presented a brief report on the two-day conference and announced that all accepted papers would be published in the International Journal of Physics. Prof. Lokesh V., Head of the Department of Marine Engineering, delivered the vote of thanks. Prof. Vivek Vijay Kumar, Department of Marine Engineering, was the master of ceremonies.
