Outreach program by students of Marine Engineering

Students of third Semester Marine Engineering organised an outreach program for the benefit of students of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Higher Primary School, Monthimar and Higher Primary School Eera, Bantwal taluk on 13th September 2019. A total of 44 students visited the schools and hosted various personality and skill development activities.

A group of 23 students visited to Higher Primary School, Monthimar and performed a skit on “Importance of education in human lives”. They created Awareness about the drug abuse, swachhath abhiyan and benefits of Yoga. During the visit students have interacted with school teachers and students’ parents and discussed about their studies. They entertained the school gathering by playing flash mob, conducting games and distributing the mementos to the students.

A group of 21 students visited to Higher Primary School Eera, Bantwal taluk and created Awareness on health and education, contagious diseases, swachhath abhiyan and benefits of Yoga. They entertained the school students by performing a magic show, conducting games and distributing the mementos to the students

Prof. Chandra Jogi, Prof. Tony K Sebastain, Prof. Sunil Prakash Rodigues and Prof Nithin Joshuva of Marine Engineering department coordinated the whole program.
