Free Medical Health Camp Organized by Marine Engineering Department

The **Department of Marine Engineering**, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, Mangaluru, in collaboration with **NSS** and **Srinivas Medical College, Mukka**, conducted a **Free Medical Health Check-up Camp** on **7th April 2025**. The initiative took place at the **Community Health Center** within the SIT campus. The primary aim of the camp was to **enhance health awareness** and extend **essential medical services** to the campus fraternity. The health screening encompassed consultations and diagnostic assessments in the following specialties: • General Medicine (including ECG and GRBS) • General Surgery • ENT • Dermatology • Orthopaedics The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a **large number of students**, as well as **teaching and non-teaching staff**, who took full advantage of this free health service. The **medical team from Srinivas Medical College** ensured smooth coordination and professional care throughout the camp. The program was efficiently coordinated by **Prof. Sunil Prakash R**, AIMES Coordinator and **Prof. Rakesh Mallya**, NSS Coordinator with the support and guidance of **Dr. Lokesh V**, Head of Marine Engineering and **Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D**, Principal of the Institute.
