Building Better Futures - CSBS & NSS Outreach Program

The Department of Computer Science & Business System (CSBS) at Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized an outreach program at Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath Higher Primary School, Valachil, on 14 March 2025. The event focused on educating students about the importance of technology and vocational education through an interactive session titled Building Better Futures: Achieving Through Tech & Vocational Education. During the session, students participated in various activities designed to enhance their knowledge and critical thinking skills. The program included discussions on technology, hands-on learning experiences, and team-based exercises to help students understand the importance of practical skills in shaping their future. The event aimed to improve their problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and confidence in applying knowledge in real-life scenarios. The outreach program was successfully coordinated by Mr. Shailesh Shetty S, Head of the Department, CSBS, and Ms. Rithika, NSS Coordinator. Their efforts contributed to making the session engaging and impactful for the students, inspiring them to explore opportunities in technology and vocational education.
