
🧠 Crack the Case - ISE Department
Mangaluru, March 12, 2024: The Department of Information Science and Engineering at Srinivas Institute of Technology, in collaboration with the **Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC),** successfully organized *'Crack the Case'* as part of **ALTIUS 2024-25.** This **thrilling and intellectually stimulating** event challenged students to apply **analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and logical reasoning** to solve complex cases. With an impressive participation of **56 students,** the competition provided an engaging platform for students to hone their **critical thinking** and **decision-making skills.** The event was **efficiently organized** by **Shrama Madival and Praneesh,** ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for all attendees. The event took place in **Room 006 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM** and featured a series of challenging case studies and puzzles requiring participants to **analyze data, identify patterns, and derive logical conclusions.** Each team, consisting of **two members,** was provided with a brief introduction to the case at the start and had access to collect and analyze evidence within a limited time frame. The cases demanded **strategic thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving expertise,** mirroring real-world scenarios where **swift and accurate decision-making** is crucial. Participants showcased **exceptional analytical prowess, creativity, and teamwork,** making the event **highly competitive and engaging.** The success of *Crack the Case* was made possible by the unwavering support and guidance of **Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal of Srinivas Institute of Technology,** whose vision for **technological excellence, innovation, and student empowerment** greatly contributed to the event’s effectiveness.
