Student associationELITE of Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department of Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangalore organised expert talk on “Advances in VLSI Technologies” on 22nd of December, 2023.Mr Ravichandra R G, Junior Engineer, of Karmic, Manipal was the guest speaker.The talk commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the speaker's background in VLSI design.The speaker initiated the discussion on evolution, fabrication, design flow of planar VLSI and the importance of transistor scaling in achieving higher levels of integration.The technical talk then focussed on FinFET and GAA (Gate All Around) technology.The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session.Elite President Mr Dhanush welcomed the gathering, Secretary Mr Charan delivered the vote of thanks.
