MS Excel for Office Work – A One-Day Workshop

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized a one day workshop titled MS Excel for Office Work on 11th July 2025 at the CCP Lab This workshop was designed exclusively for the teaching and non teaching staff members of the institution focusing on enhancing their practical skills in Microsoft Excel for office related tasks The session began with a welcome address by Dr Suresha D Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering who emphasized the importance of digital tools in improving workplace productivity and encouraged the participants to make the most of the learning opportunity The resource person for the session Prof Rakesh Sharma from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted an engaging hands on session covering Excel from basic to advanced levels The training included data entry formatting formulas functions charts and data validation—enabling participants to work more efficiently with data in their respective roles The interactive workshop received positive feedback with participants appreciating the practical approach and clarity of instruction The department extends its gratitude to all staff members who took part in the session and acknowledges the efforts of the organizing team in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the event
