On 22nd August 2026, the Department of Information Science and Engineering (ISE) and the Department of Computer Science and Design (CSD), in association with IIC & YUKTI CELL, organized Project Presentation I – “Showdown: The Ultimate Demo Day” at the Department Seminar Hall at 09:00 AM. The programme was organized to provide students with an opportunity to present their projects, demonstrate their working models, and gain practical experience in presenting their ideas before an evaluation panel.

As part of the session, each student came forward and presented their respective project. The students explained the objective, concept, methodology, features, and working of their projects. They also demonstrated the developed project or prototype to showcase its practical implementation and functionality.

The project presentations were evaluated by the faculty members based on the students’ project understanding, presentation skills, technical implementation, demonstration, clarity of explanation, and overall project performance. During the evaluation, faculty members observed the students' presentations and provided appropriate feedback and suggestions wherever necessary.

The presentation and demonstration activity helped students develop their technical communication, confidence, presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to explain their project work effectively. It also provided students with practical experience in responding to questions and explaining the working and significance of their projects.

The event was coordinated by Prof. Athmaranjan K. and Prof. Sahana Bandekar, Project Coordinators. The event was conducted under the guidance and support of Prof. Sudarshan K., HOD, ISE & CSD, with the support of Dr. Praveen Shenoy, IIC Coordinator. The programme also received valuable guidance from Prof. Archana D, Association Advisor of ACODE, and Prof. Sowmya, Association Advisor of AISE. The organizers sincerely thank Dr. Shrinivasa Mayya D, Principal, for his valuable support and encouragement. Their collective guidance, support, and dedication ensured the smooth and successful execution of the project presentations and demonstrations.
